Some quick news before posting in august about this sylvester 27C3, since yes, there is a post Congress effect (aka ton of emails, pending orders, new product entries to add and translate, inventory and so on). Lots of fun for a single man but no more time for geeking. And no procrastination escape available when you're talking about online store.
This will be soon old pain thanks to "Guyzmo", coming in to serve h:D users and help me in product entries feeding as hors d'œuvre.
Even if it was wonderful and, never forget it, a chance being in your presence, let me tell you guys you're dead exhausting! ;)
For the story, this is the very first time I see such crowded hacking area (from a seasonned bunny booth point of view), and we can attest some of you were still soldering at 6:30 in the early morning of day 3! Totally short stacked nights!
Each day at BCC is a really nice surprise, we are always pleased to see so much people getting hands on soldering and tinkering hardware for fun and knowledge.
For people missing the event, here's a quick and non exhaustive photo summary of what happened on the hardware hacking area:
Mitch, giving is workshop about soldering basics and TV-B-Gone hacking on Arduino. Both workshops he gave were crowded as well
Christine and Glen, running some prints all along the way. Glen is the kind of guy who quietly succeed in Thing-O-Matic live assembly right in the mild of chaos. Congrats!
They also did a pretty hot & funny demo, using blinking leds directly added into the bust while printing.
Then came Anonymous ;), during is DIY High Frequency Antenna workshop for Proxmark 3. The demo was filmed in two parts so, right after some video and subtitle editing, we will brought it to you for sure. Stay tuned!
This event was a particular one, among all those event we participated in; First because it's kind of birthday for us, since we "offically" launched the h:D website during a 26C3's lightning talk, one year ago.
Second because it was the first time hackers and makers spontaneously bring us their creation to distribute and promote.
That's how we met Marcus and his bliken buttons for SMT soldering introduction, or Servando and the minia board for artistical live interactions.
Third because we've launched with sharism.cc and Raumfahrtagentur (casing), the very first copies of the Milkymist One boards. FPGA and Vee Jaying lovers, both be sure to have a look at this totally hot and GPL flavored SoC project!
Finally, because hackers used products they found around the booth to discover, test and hack on the fly projects they like. See as an example this photo with both Servando and Sylwester hacking around a Shruti-1 synthesizer kit, integrating it in their own set!
This is also what h:D is all about and I'm proud to participate in this.
Just before cleaning all the place up, time for a little rest came, watching the Hacker Jeopardy broadcast for fun and have a look at the Jimmie's LoL Shield contest result - the little video matrix blinking blue near Andreas.
Only one conclusion: hope to see you next year for 28C3!
Tons of Thanks to all 27C3 attenders and Mitch, Marcus and me :) for photos!

So, about this "We come in peace" CCC's edition.
Once more located in the Berlin Congress Center, this 27th congress welcomed you with Jolly Roger flags and a huge RGB wall based on stacked Ikea© plastic cases. Totally awesome!
Even if it was wonderful and, never forget it, a chance being in your presence, let me tell you guys you're dead exhausting! ;)
