WikiReader is an electronic encyclopedia giving physical form to Wikipedia
This is the new device from Openmoko inc.
Wikireader is an easy way to read Wikipedia offline. Simple to use with his touchscreen and only 3 buttons, no internet connection is needed. You can search among 3 million Wikipedia's topics wherever you are, including in bright sunlight.
It's a scratch resistant tempered glass screen built-in a high-quality plastic case, with low power consumption design in mind. Two standard AAA battery will power it up for about 12 months.
Wikireader uses open source software you can get at github and use in a free as in freedom philosophy.
